Things in the Beast Division were always busy, it seemed, though Adam often mused that especially dramatic events happened in clusters. There'd been the business with the pixies, and then last week there'd been a Doxy infestation that had taken several members of his department to take care of. And this morning, as if to prove large creatures could be pests, too, some fool had taken an interest in keeping exotic magical creatures and he'd had to rehome a "miniature" occamy that, surprise surprise, had turned out to be full sized. Because of course.
