As to your house, individuals from Hufflepuff are lauded as being loyal and hardworking. I myself was a Hufflepuff, many years ago, and so it is not without bias that I say that it is a very good place to be. Every house has its virtues, but I think that Hufflepuff's make for a better rounded individual. I hope that you will flourish there, as I did.
