Appearance: [Cepheus is rather tall, standing at a little over 5 foot 10 inches. His build is small and lithe, but not entirely unappealing. His hair is a shocking orange color that he shares with both his uncles on his mothers’ side. Ceph’s face and body are covered in a dense cloud of freckles that often make him appear strange to those around him. He is left-handed and has a strange way of holding his wand in which he grasps it in his fist and holds it at a ninety-degree angle in front of him. Cepheus has very large canines that often cause him to look more like an animal when he sneers. An expression he uses on a fairly regular basis. Cepheus never wear wizarding robes. He can often be seen in a simple muggle t-shirt and trousers.]

Cepheus is born out of wedlock to a single mother and an already married father.
Cepheus displays his first sign of magical abilities by setting his father’s robes on fire upon meeting him for the first time.
Cepheus is taken from his mother’s household and placed with his father and half siblings. Ceph is immediately disregarded by the entire family and abused often by his older brothers. Cepheus begins to cultivate a budding affection for his younger sister Poppy.
Cepheus is told to distance himself from Poppy. His father tells him that he is a tainted influence and he would prefer that his daughters not be diluted by his imperfections. Cepheus refuses and is beaten by his father for the first time. At this point, Poppy is five years old.
Cepheus begins his first year at Hogwarts. He misses Poppy desperately, but loves being a student and throws himself into his studies.
Cepheus spends the summer after his fourth year at his father’s residence in London. After calling his father a worthless bastard at a public wizarding event, Cepheus is abused by his father once more. Poppy walks in on this event just in time to watch her father break Cepheus’s nose. The little girl burst into tears and immediately began screaming at her father and brother in anger. Poppy’s relationship with Ceph was tense for several months after. Her relationship with her once doting father is distant at best. She was nine years old.
As Cepheus begins his sixth year at Hogwarts, Poppy and her two sisters Rose and Lily begin their first year at Hogwarts. Poppy is sorted into Hufflepuff, while Rose and Lily are sorted into Slytherin. Cepheus is overjoyed at being able to spend more time with Poppy and the two are nearly inseparable for the entire year.
Cepheus ends his career as a student and spends the next three years training to be an Auror for the Ministry.
