Mars was slightly amused by Earth's words about their religion. While she wasn't a firm believer, like her older sister, she did like the excuse of having one day closed. Ever since her daughter had been born, it had mostly been Aaron running the store while she'd stayed home with the baby.
Yesterday had been her second day back to work, and she'd definitely felt the absence of her daughter.
"Yes, your daughter will have Sundays off." she replied after a moment. "Your daughter will be helping the customers find what they're looking for during her shift. And putting what they don't want away."
She paused for another moment. "My name is Mars Asteroid, and this is my sister, Ms. Earth Beck."
The brunette figured that it was better to make sure, for her peace of mind, that she and she sister were properly introduced.

Ronan nodded as she heard directly from the source what was going on and what exactly Alina would be doing. "Good to meet you both, bless you, sounds like good earnest work. I has to ask though, her exact hours and her pay?" She asked. Just to make sure there was without a shadow of a doubt the amount promised.
Earth had been a little disappointed by the lack of positive feedback, but she quickly had let it go. Now she looked at her sister for a moment. "Sister, may I have some time with Lawyer while you discuss this further?" She asked before her sister could respond to the woman. Auntie and niece time was something she suddenly wanted badly.
Mars was about to respond when her sister asked about spending time with Lawyer. Nodding, she handed her baby to the blonde before returning her attention to the child's mother.
"She'd be paid on Monday of each week, two gallons and a sickle." she replied before continuing. "The hours she'd be working would be eleven in the morning to two in the afternoon. The times could be different, if you'd prefer your daughter work later, or earlier, in the day."
Gladly taking her niece, she cooed at the little one as she grabbed a stool and went over to the front. She planted herself near the girl, though didn't pay her much mind.

Ronan gave a nod, "Well, sounds good." The hours weren't bad and the pay was indeed damn good and would help towards Alina's education. "Thank ye for ye time Miss Asteroid, she'll be in not tomorrow but the day after. Me afraid me daughter needs ah quick reminder in manners before she's ready to give ye her best." She looked to Earth, "Sorry for ye trouble Miss Beck, it shouldn' happen again pleasure meetin ye though. Should ye have any questions or concerns regardin me lass I can be reached by owl. Much appreciated really Miss Asteroid."
She wasn't really sure why someone would name their child Lawyer, but the child was a wee cutie. Speaking of children though she had to get back to her's. She turned to Alina and in a firm voice spoke gaelic once more, "Alright Alina, we're leaving come on."
So many days with a lack of pay surely rubbed Alina the wrong way. Even if she had been simmering down a bit, that fire and ice were once again back and she got up without a word. She had been telling the truth, and had been fairly reasonable until her mother had practically outright called her a liar.
Instead of acknowledging her mother, she gave a goodbye nod to each of the two women, and then went out of the shop.
The blonde had watched the little redhead go with a hint of pitty. Their parents had always been so open to letting her and her siblings being free as could be. It was odd to see a more socially normal family go about their business.

Ronan shook her head as her daughter continued to be a brat as step outside the shop. She looked back to the wee child and the two sisters. "Enjoy it while it lasts, because there will be a point where they think they know everything and can whip the world in ah single blow." She then slipped outside to join her daughter. This was far from over between her and Alina.
