She followed him as yet again, they fell into silence with the sole sound being them wading through the water. The smell of the kitchen was getting further and further away, she observed. At least that was an alright sign. But - Rowan looked up as he hesitated at the door, confused. Had he realized that they were going the wrong way? She stared at his back for what it seemed like the umpteenth time that night. His shirt, though stuck to his back in some places, was beginning to look somewhat dry. Her skirts and coat, however, held the water too well, and she fought the urge to peel every layer off of her. She wanted to be rid of these clothes that had seen too much of the sea.
