While a weight seemed like it had been instantly removed from their shoulders, Ben still felt a similar weight of exhaustion and realization settle in the air. He had to wonder if they'd gained anything out of this conversation; amongst all of them, yes, but the matter remained that he and Ari still had to hide from Society. Not to mention the realization of their fate if anyone other than this stunningly understanding young boy had stumbled upon them, they would be facing drastic consequences.

Ben looked up at Ari again as he attempted to release the tensions from his shoulders. If the boy was to be believed at his word (and from how he was feeling at this moment, Ben did indeed trust him), they were safe from their affair leaking to the public. That Ari had told the boy he could reach out any time didn't quite sit well, seeing as this was not an encounter combination he was anywhere near comfortable with. That being said, they were indeed indebted to the boy, and his feelings towards him were not nearly as hostile as they were moments ago. "You're more than welcome back here, Mr. Holm." he said somberly as he got up, offering a smile as he did so.

Truth be told, he thought Ari would be better suited to any questions the boy had, but he was loath to leave that weight solely with Ari. "And we thank you...again..." he said softly, offering a smile.
