I would love to get back into it, and the whole system here sounds super cool and the buddy system is so welcoming and lovely but I do have one question -- is it better to play an adult or a first year or a non-firstie student as my first character? I don't have any ideas, really, but I don't know if anyone would be willing to take a chance on me as a complete unknown for an adoptable, so... I don't know! I guess I'm wondering what your advice would be.
I would always advise choosing a demographic that has a lot of characters in it for your first character. While we’re always looking for uncommon character types, they’re perhaps not easiest to start with!
We have a lot of first years on Charming, if that’s any comfort! I myself have two! The most popular demographic seems to be upper and middle class first years.
You can never go wrong with adults, either! Popular demographics are men in their late 20s/early 30s and ladies in between the ages of 18-23ish. That sky’s the limit, though—we could always use more hospital employees, Ministry employees, and played employees of Hogsmeade shops!
We have a number of adoptable characters, and many members (myself included!) would be delighted to have a new member take one!
