They were literally sitting in several weeks' worth of his own filth; his hair likely looked as if he’d allowed a cow to chomp it off; his body was more hollow than was healthy. It was a far cry from the confident Quidditch player that Jin-a had cared for over the years. And yet, the soft pink glow on the vampire’s cheeks was the same as it always had been.

He paused his chewing at his friend’s announcement. They’d had plenty of earth-shattering revelations this evening already, hadn’t they?
