"You can open it now," Zippy said with a laugh. It would have been too cruel of her to present a gift that her sister would have to wait months for. Besides, it would do the pending mother good to have something to cheer her and perhaps look forward to using. At least that was what Zipporah would want should she ever actually end up in the family way. (That required noticing men existed first.)
