"Oh, have you found a position yet? Or do you need to wait for your NEWT results?" Sybille hadn't heard if Paxton had recieved a job yet, some of their classmates already had but quite a few were waiting for better jobs at the end of the summer. Regardless she was happy for him if he had indeed found a job.

A soft chuckle crossed her lips at his assumption. How apt the phrasing was. "Indeed." She wished she could tell him just how much she didn't like that, how many expectations she had to overcome. "Being the youngest sometimes does have its disadvantages." Since Paxton was one of the youngest in his family he might have some idea of what she meant, but it was also as close to admitting the truth as she could get.

She took a sip of her champagne to push away the complicated feelings of her statement.
