I thought you'd like it!

I promise that my original intent was not to make you a radical - although I have to admit to being pleased that you're resonating with these writings, and that you are enjoying them, as my intent was also not to bore you. I think that we are raising women in Britain to be unaware of the differences in their legal status, and yet they are then entrapped - & it is almost as if they have been conned by a snake-oil salesman. (The salesman, in this metaphor, is society.)

I'm sending a lengthier book this time, & forgive the author her time spent on America & religion. I think the arguments she makes about the souls of men & women — & their differences and similarities — are interesting, as well as her argument for a more collaborative form of marriage.
