Dearest Lucy,
I shall be coming home for a visit at the beginning of August as I have some business in London. Before you ask, I have no idea how long I shall be thusly engaged but I should like to take you and the boys away for a weekend regardless. Is there anywhere in particular you’d like to go? The Sanditon perhaps?
