It was not all that odd to find Frederick at the Society most days. He had friends there and of course his mother. There was also Miss Whitledge a young woman he held in great, affectionate esteem. He would even be so bold as to say he loved her. Though he had not said as much to her quite yet. He knew she had been hesitant at first but he had been quite glad when she had agreed to allow his courting of her.
