Since I’ve felt like myself…

Vera turned this phrase over in her mind as they walked. It wasn’t a phrase she was unfamiliar with herself. If she had to venture a guess, perhaps Sera was talking about struggling to feel like herself after her child went off to Hogwarts. Vera searched in her mind to try and remember if Sera had said that it was her first child who had just gone off to Hogwarts, but she couldn’t drum up an answer.

“How do you mean?” She asked tentatively, chancing a glance at the woman next to her. “Since you had a child go off to Hogwarts?”
