Character: Emrys Selwyn
Play-by: Colin Farrell - he has a wide variety of pictures, I enjoy the ones with mid- to long- hair but where he does not look quite so much like a pirate. Pictures where the facial expression could be described as "...the fuck did I get myself into" are very Emrys-esque imo.
Set things: I really like short/long signature images rather than tall/thin (his current code sig as an example, but you don't have to use those aspect ratios, I just find the /small splash of pretty/ appealing). Black & white or color is fine. Basically everything is fine. It can have text or not.
Character things: he's lavish, patron of the arts in all the various mediums (side note, he should meet Elfrieda sometime), polite society sees him as somewhat ~mysterious because he's known to like his privacy. Outside of polite society, he's a well known player in the hedonist circles (opium/other drugs, sex parties, etc etc), openly (in the right circles) bisexual. Runs away from hard conversations frequently! Owns a shipping business.
