In her last duel she had ended up with a black eye for her trouble and the feeling that she really ought to cut her losses in the duelling stakes before she made an utter fool of herself. Then another had been announced and the thought of only duelling women had piqued Connie's interest - at least if Miss Moony gave her a black eye she would likely apologise for it!

Smiling gently at the younger woman she inclined her head before casting a stinging jinx at her opponent's small hand.

So much for that plan. It was a good thing she had a high pain tolerance. Shaking her jinxed hand, Winnie frowned slightly, feeling more like a third year than ever. Had Sykes always been so stately? It was certainly distracting.

Winnie thought for a split second before casing the ebublio jinx, just for show.
