Much as he wanted to avoid getting burned alive by a dragon, Ben had to pause when he heard the kid chime in. He'd forgotten, for a moment, that he was even here, but he couldn't very well just walk off and leave him here in good conscious. The ladies from the Ministry would have their hands full enough without worrying about looking after a kid on top of it.

"You can get out of here," he suggested. "You'll get in the way if you stay. C'mon," he said, reaching out to place an arm around the boy's shoulders.

Leif didn't like leaving all these people alone, but it seemed that for the most part, they were qualified, and he could handle the situation. Still, he felt like he should be doing something. "Okay," he said reluctantly, planning to follow the man to the exit of the park, then run home and tell his parents all about it. He thought it was so amazing, and he knew that his brothers would get a kick out of the story.

It was to their advantage that the civilians were finally dispersing - whether the creatures emerging from these toadstools were as real as they appeared or not they certainly looked real and if there was even the slightest chance of being eaten by a dragon then it was undoubtedly for the best that they were gone. Fortunately she could spot a substantial number of the employees that made up her department closing in together, the dragon specialists at the front with their wands aloft.

Perhaps this was a good day after all?
