Margaery Lockhart

Incoming Firstie WCHB | Irvingly Resident | rep 9 | child Friends: Kiddos around her age/station that are around Irvingly/Hogsmeade! Margie is pretty outgoing, but also the Oldest Sister, so sometimes Bossy. She's incredibly artistic and enjoys spending time with her grandfather in his workshop. She can often be found meandering the Hollow or the zoo with her younger brother Calvin in tow. She's already friends with Poppy MacFusty! Her father played professional quidditch and in the QWC (famously getting struck by lightning); her uncle by marriage also plays professionally, and her uncle makes brooms, so she's pretty into the sport, but not enough to want to play. She DOES like flying, though! Hogwarts If we can't get them together now, let's aim for something after the Sorting! Will likely join the flying club and art club! Margie is very into astronomy as well and is very much looking forward to that class! Shopkeepers: Margie runs errands around Irvingly for anyone who needs it for some extra cash for the house.

Ahoy there Margaery!

I have three for you.

• Greta Gillenwater lives in Irvingly (maybe close by?) and has done since her parents moved during her first year. Her stepdad is Quidditch mad and obviously she's a Seeker and Flying Club pres :D I'm hoping to come up with (or get assistance coming up with) some track and field style threads for the club and take full advantage of the power mwahahaha? But potentially acquainted there.
  
• Caroline Weasley - Went to Hogsmeade last year. Catigern, her father, was a player and she was born during a game. She is however afraid of heights and lives in Hogsmeade and middle sisters her way through life doing her own thing. She likes animals too much? But possible family connection with her mad family hoarde.
  
• Ariel Sherington will be in her year this year. She's artistically inclined as well though more towards plays, theatre, music and books.
  

Oh! And Maeve Halloran exists as a Fifth Year Working Class Puff who she may have run into at some point. Similar station and likes to create things so that's another potential link.

Poppy and @"Magaret Wallace" are also friends and Maggie used to do delivery errands for farms in irvingly so her and Margaery are potentially friends too. Probably a good route to pre-school threads. Of my first years Alys Gower is probably the more likely to befriend her and she loves astronomy so they can bond over that. There is also Bonnie Greyback a couple of years above and in flying club.

Dorothea Potts might be spending time with her depending on her house after sorting. Depending on how close she is to her Aunt's family they might know each other already or at least know of each other.

I think Margs would like Greta and the idea of flying club events sounds fun! Not sure how close they'd be outside of school, but Margie would appreciate someone to show her around!

I'm having a hard time getting a read on what Margie would think of Maggie. Considering her grandfather is a muggle, that part doesn't bother her, but she cannot fathom how someone doesn't like magic XD it's Great to her. If Maggie and Poppy are friends, Margie is definitely polite and inclusive, but Unsure.

We can circle back around to Alys/Bonnie after the Sorting as well!

I don't think Margie spends all that much time with the Potts family at large, considering she lives in Irvingly and the marriage is effectively new, but she probably views them positively if A Bit Much sometimes lol.

Hello there, fellow firstie. I have Silas for you, who will be in Slytherin after sorting and is a Muggleborn trying to come to terms with magic existing in conflict with his beliefs. He is, however, a curious kid and astronomy would probably be the class he would push himself to learn because of its close link to his true love: sailing. If Margie has any interest in boats or water, that would be a common ground (no pun intended) for them to find friendship or mutual respect.

I also have Charley Goode who might pop up in Irvingly as desired, for deliveries or to visit her friend Maggie, and might aid or thwart plans of a fellow working class girl. And Millie Potts who could be a resource/mentor/disciplinarian option if Margie gets into Ravenclaw.

Millie Potts

Astronomy is definitely a strong interest of hers, but Margie is terrified of water, doesn't even know how to swim. She had an accident as toddler at the ocean and has been afraid ever since xD We can definitely see how it goes once they hit Hogwarts!

I doubt Margie has any interest in a little turf war over deliveries, so would probably avoid anything of that nature, unless forced to deal with it. (Her mother once threw a frying pan at her father, she's not shy about standing up for herself!)

As for Millie, despite some common family, they may have only had the opportunity to cross paths at Daffy's wedding, so it would largely be an IC relationship to develop once she hits Hogwarts :]
