Dear Gretchen,

Your uncle and I are so very proud of your achievement of becoming head girl, you Lestrange ladies are cultivating quite a dynasty.  To start you off on this special final year of your Hogwarts education we've sent you a little something, we wanted to give it to you before you went, but the fabric is a French velvet and didn't arrive at the dressmaker's in time.  It is so the rest of the school might know how special and powerful a witch, and young lady, you are becoming.
