stars are falling all for us1868 Maxwell Charles Dandridge is born, second child and firstborn son of Quincy, a wizard, and Lucille, a muggle. His elder sister is barely two years of age. Maxwell has been informed that he was a fussy babe, but healthy regardless. 1870 Maxwell gets a brother. He is himself just two years of age when the newborn second son arrives. His elder sister is an early bloomer, experiencing her first act of magic mere weeks after the third Dandridge sibling arrives — which prompts their father explaining the wizarding world in whole to their mother, with a polite but firm demand that she never share the information with her natal family. 1873 Maxwell is about to turn five when his second brother is born. Now old enough to simply go by Max, he is surprisingly doting on his baby brothers, and spends much of his time running amok with his elder sister. His first act of magic is this year, levitating his bed off the floor during a nightmare. 1875 The Dandridge siblings are rounded out by another girl arriving, healthy and screaming. It's at this point that Max is moved into his own bedroom and given a separate tutor to his elder sister. He complains, of course, that it's unfair, but he's quickly redirected. 1877 Turmoil strikes the Dandridge household after the Queen is attacked by a wizard. Luckily, Max's maternal relatives aren't the sort to believe gossip, and none of them were present when it happened. Still, word of the riots in London reaches the household, and Max finds himself torn. 1879 Max's acceptance letter for Hogwarts arrives. Of course, he isn't the first of his siblings to attend, but he is quite happy to do so personally. His father purchases Max his own owl, a regal male snowy owl he chooses, like a young boy might, to name Toast. days grow longer and nights grow shorter

First YearMax is pleasantly surprised to be sorted into Gryffindor, the house his father once called his home at Hogwarts. He takes to practical applications of magic like bird on the wing, but anything that involves retaining facts sees him struggling. 1881-84
OWL YearsFor his elective, Max decides to try his hand at Earth Magic, but quickly finds it is not to his tastes. Still, he continues attending the class, primarily so as not to lose points for his house. In his fourth year, largely to appease his younger brothers, he decides to try out for the house Quidditch team, but does not claim a spot. He's quite fine with this, and content to remain a spectator. 1884-86
NEWT YearsMax's OWL scores are just about as expected, and he continues forward with a roster of four classes — Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Herbology, and Transfiguration, which proves to be ideal, though Herbology does become rather difficult for him to maintain his grasp on. He is one of the first in his year to be able to cast a corporeal patronus, a fact that he was, and still is, quite proud of. i will never let you fall
i'll stand p with you forever1886-87 At his father's suggestion, Max chooses to take the year like any other young wizard, touring the world. He tries many new things and learns about the local people of many places, though retention of historical knowledge was never a strength of his. He returns home with a week to spare before his elder sister gets married. 1892 Following a period of relative peace and comfort in the Dandridge family, everything is rather shaken to its core when Quincy Dandridge suddenly passes in his sleep just days before Christmas. Suddenly, Max is in charge of the whole household (save that which his mother manages), and while it is something his father had been preparing him for, both parties had been positive it would be some years away. Not while Max was still in his twenties. 1895 It's high time Maxwell Charles Dandridge finds a wife. He also needs to find a husband for his baby sister. i'll be there for you through it all
