Adam grimaced sympathetically. "I wish him a speedy recovery," he said. "I can't imagine being holed up was very enjoyable for him on top of feeling ill, necessary as it was." Coming from a very active family himself, Adam knew being confined was its own kind of misery.

“He’s doing quite well right now, thank goodness!” Tilda responded with a grin. “He was just a little grouchy for quite some time — and perhaps a few days after as well.” She added. “Which I’m sure you know with brothers is never easy to get them to settle down.”
