Did You Know?
One of the cheapest homeless shelters in Victorian London charged four pennies to sleep in a coffin. Which was... still better than sleeping upright against a rope? — Jordan / Lynn
If he was being completely honest, the situation didn't look good, but Sylvano was not in the habit of being completely honest about anything. No reason to start now.

January 8th, 1896 — The Library

Lysander was back at Hogwarts after a good but otherwise uneventful winter break, and he was determined to feel less lost this term. He was a Gryffindor, he was going to be a Gryffindor for the next seven years, and he was going to have to get used to it. Hogwarts was real life — Wellingtonshire was for breaks.

So maybe he ought to try and join some clubs.

She, the Miss Lestrange, was in the library. He waited until she was by herself, and then approached.

"You run Divination Club?" Lysander asked, voice quiet. He had a textbook tucked under his arm.

Agape Lestrange Acacia Eventide

#2
As always, the Lestrange holidays were a mixture of warm welcome and strained cold. In Agape's own home, filled with her mother and siblings - and the wards - it was a primarily peaceful time. Of course, the older girls tended to bicker from time to time, but mama would only let it go on for so long before putting an end to that nonsense. Things were beginning to find a sense of normal again. Mother was finding her footing, Agape's closer-in-age sisters were certainly growing their own sense of independence in a way that Agape had never imagined she would have at their ages, and the twins were so big now. They would be three later this year and it was hard to imagine that father wouldn't be here to see any of it. They carried on.

The holidays also brought... the visit to the extended family. Agape was always on her best and most proper behavior when she visited the extended relations. It wasn't all too hard these days, she didn't really run amuck or cause mischief. She did get a tad embarrassed if her features changed without her willingness and she worked hard to keep that under willful control. A trait that she continued to train as often as she allowed herself, mostly in the evenings before she went to bed. One of the older aunts had been caught asking mother if she would remarry. Agape had not stayed in the room for that answer. Thankfully, the rooms were crowded, and the gathering was a free-flowing sort of space, so she needn't stay put when she made her quiet exit. She didn't want to know until she had to know.

Agape wanted to, overall, escape the winter break and focus on her studies. She could be productive in her studies. Keep her mind sharp and occupied in her studies. To make things better, she was club president and that gave her plenty to do. Plenty to keep her from thinking about topics that she ought not worry about until there is something to concern herself with.

She was catching up some fellow club members on some divination homework before they were off to find a few books and head out. She would join up after getting a few loose ends all neat and tidy. She also needed to get a couple of other assignments done, so she knew she wouldn't be meeting back up with her fellow club members for a little while. When addressed by an unfamiliar voice, she glanced up. "Indeed, Mr.?" It wasn't uncommon for younger students to inquire about the club now that she was the president, she was happy to take a few moments to discuss the details and offer advice as needed. She politely gestured for the young boy to sit across from her. The library had chaperones, she knew that this would be acceptable given the academic circumstances.
