A Roast and Toast Virtual Bookclub | AUGUST - Sisse Thompsett - August 21, 2025
Did you miss June's Roast and Toast? Then here is your chance!
Does the state of the world have you wanting to shout with fury? Does Camp Charming have you shouting with joy? If so come channel that rage and/or excitement into our Roast and Toast bookclub.
When: See poll (it will close on Friday, August 22)
Where: GoogleMeets or Discord (depending on who can help me)
What: Come prepared to roast your most hated book and to toast your most favorite book. The beauty of this? You don't have to actually read anything but can still keep up with the conversation. Plus you get to vent about something "productive" instead of just the end of the world as we know it.
This event will be counted as a Charming Bookclub for Camp Charming 2025. For those who attended or participated in the thread version this will count as a Social for Camp Charming 2025.
Disclaimer: This is meant to spark lively and respectful conversations. Please respect other members opinions of books and come with an open mind. (For instance, my most hated book is a book most people love.)
