June 10, 1895 — Padmore Park
Remy did not often have cause to come into Hogsmeade but Padmore Park was surely lovely this time of year. He was not left disappointed. He set up his easel and paints and got started on his painting. First, he began by doing a light sketch of the scenery before him, the pond, the ducks and what looked to be an elderly couple making use of one of the paddle boats. He smiled to himself as he began the actual painting part of his process. He had just finished painting in the pond when he felt something wet and slobbery on his ankle. He glanced down to find that someones dog was being quite affectionate with his leg by giving him dog kisses.

Hauke did not make a habit of losing Theo. The
spaniel led a blessed life, and rarely so much as tugged upon his leash, so Hauke was
utterly unprepared when he slipped his collar entirely and
bolted for the pond. Faster by far than Hauke could hope to catch. He ran anyway, calling Theo's name with the leash and collar still dangling from his grasp. It did him no good, in the end. The dog did not so much as pause in his stride until he reached some poor artist set up on the water's edge.
"Theo!" Breathless, Hauke jogged up next to the painter and easel. He stooped, wrapped his arms around the black pup's shoulders, and hauled him firmly backwards.
"My apologies!" He was still gasping as he slipped the collar back over Theo's head and hauled him a few more steps away. Theo's attention, for whatever reason, remained fixedly on the artist's ankles.
"I do not know what got into him."
Remy could not hold back a chuckle as the dogs owner caught up with the errant, overly affectionate pup. "That's quite all right. Friendly little thing, isn't he?" He said in amusement, feeling sorry for the obviously out of breath owner of the dog. "Perhaps he simply likes the French." He was joking, obviously and not altogether put off by having had a dog slobber on his ankles when a quick wave of his wand cleaned his ankle right up.
