I'm having a brain fart - What sort of jobs or internships would be available for students who aren't working for their parents or their friends families, especially those in their last few years of school who would be wishing to maybe dip their toes into future occupations and how would one go about getting said toes wet (especially since we don't exactly do a career day anymore)? As I'm having issues with this I figured others may... also?

Also known as I want Greta to have a job over the holidays and have no idea where to shove her as she wants a career but hasnt quite settled on a future goal yet (She casts her net wide with Academia, being a Healer, Ministry Employee, MLE, Archeologist... it.. just goes on) and I figure a summer job might help her settle on her NEWTs... I'm getting the feeling that I should be putting this in Plottage but figure I scope out guidelines I can work within first.

We don't have the Ministry or hospitals etc offering any formal summer internships any more, only proper internships for new graduates! As per the occs list, I think the Podmore Zoo offers a couple of summer intern positions, but that's about it.

The only people that might need to work in summers from a financial perspective would be working class kids, so all I can suggest for Greta would be potentially reaching out to an individual who might offer her some more informal temporary work, or even just writing some letters of introductions to likely individuals for possible ~career advice. xD
