Did You Know?
One of the cheapest homeless shelters in Victorian London charged four pennies to sleep in a coffin. Which was... still better than sleeping upright against a rope? — Jordan / Lynn
If he was being completely honest, the situation didn't look good, but Sylvano was not in the habit of being completely honest about anything. No reason to start now.

Hogwarts' Class of '88: Where Are They Now?
With the new season only months away, we here at Witch Weekly have decided to take a look into the past Hogwarts graduates of 1888, and take note as to the happenings in each and every one of their lives as far as society is concerned.

Miss Crawford, soon-to-be spinster?
It seems that the only ideal outcome for these ladies that we shall list in this article is an uneventful one. From scandal to death, the only girl that seems to have a truly bright future to speak of is one Miss Hope Crawford. Still having remained unmarried, she has at least had the decency to not run off in order to elope as many young ladies seem to be doing as of late.

Our next young lady, Miss Allegra Clearwater, has shown an absolute lack of finding a husband all together by the blunt act of choosing a career. As one may surely realize, a woman aught not reach for a career when she is expected to raise a household of children. It does beg the question as to whether she will give up this career when she finally has a husband, or is with child at the latest. We all know how the Whitledge children turned out with a mother who had a career!

Miss Naeva Lécuyer is not entirely at fault for the bad reputation that has plagued her. With her father being left at the altar, and her older sister eloping, one must wonder how she has not become a mess as well. Thus far the only negativity she has brought to her family name is that she has yet to find a match.
One can mostly blame this on her family being the way it is. But is there more to it? Does Miss Lécuyer have her own shameful habits that are kept hidden from the rumor mill? One can only hope that she has not taken after her fallen sister!

Under normal circumstances, we here at Witch Weekly would never bother our readers with stories of those from more humble standings. But we have made an exception with one Miss Madeleine Backus, as she has seen fit to reach above said standing. Socialites, beware for your sons as one might be dazzled by her beauty and inheritance, and forget themselves in the process. It seems that the young lady has still been working on becoming one of a higher social circle even with the lack of a proper etiquette education that would be found in lessons with a childhood governess. It doesn't seem like her efforts will end any time soon.

The late Miss Rawlinson.
And last - but certainly not least - the late Miss Margaret Rawlinson. One of the brightest prospects amoung her peers, it seemed that Miss Rawlinson was likely to find a suitable match sooner rather than later. Tragedy, however, found her first. Attacked in the night, her vampiric murderer has yet to have been captured by the Ministry and face justice. We will never know who Miss Rawlinson would have been lucky enough to start a family with. If only her foolish Gryffindor bravery had not lead her, and her chaperone, out on that fateful night.
