Oak and Greta had both stayed over during the Christmas Holidays since they technically didn't have their home anymore and had to rely on the kindness of friends and family for shelter for the first long while. There was still no news as far as Oak was aware on whether or not the area their original home was recoverable. They were at least better off than a lot of their muggle compatriots. The ones who had nowhere else to go were still living in the encampment, left forever unsettled thanks to the age old enchantments that kept them from being able to see or approach the village of Hogsmeade.

On top of all this, they were still dealing with the loss of Cameron. There had been a surge of hope when Maddy had been recovered, having gotten herself displaced in the chaos and having ended up in a muggle hospital. But it soon proved that Cameron was among those forever vanished. He sat at the common room table, where he was studying with his sister.

"Do you reckon we'll be fetched for Easter Break?" They had skipped out on Christmas which was understandable but he figured their parents would want to see them eventually and wouldn't let them keep just putting off coming to be with family. And besides, they'd have at least rented a new residence by now. Oak had admittedly not paid much attention on their progress with that since he was at Hogwarts anyway.
