At his reassurance, Sophie visibly relaxed, even going as far as to breath a sigh of relief. She was certifiably not a confrontational person by nature, and the idea of having to confront a lady of society had her absolutely shaking in her boots.
Her relief, however, did not last long as she saw a terribly familiar look cross Endymion’s face, one she usually associated with flights of fancy. The One. Her heart plummeted, and she swallowed. Blinked owlishly. Then remembered to nod to at least acknowledge that she understood him. “What…what do you mean?” She asked, belatedly realizing it was a rather stupid question. She knew what he meant. “I meant…how do you know to look for her?”
