They hadn’t stopped arguing now that they were together, but Jude had optimistically imagined they would only keep the habit of the debates (arguing on social issues and progressive causes, the way they always had) and nothing else; that things like this might be easier to broach, now that Kieran knew it came from a place of love and not judgement.
