Ezra chewed his lip. "No," he said. He could send her a cool, professional note; that would be better than trying to admit to anything he'd discovered in the interim. One silver lining was that she was unlikely to want to go back and forth much in letters; she'd tried to sneak in to his house and steal it without even talking to him at all, so she probably wasn't craving a heart to heart. "I want your help deciding what to do next."
