One of the cheapest homeless shelters in Victorian London charged four pennies to sleep in a coffin. Which was... still better than sleeping upright against a rope? — Jordan / Lynn
If he was being completely honest, the situation didn't look good, but Sylvano was not in the habit of being completely honest about anything. No reason to start now.

Pro-Quidditch still happened last weekend, but Magnus Lockhart lives in Irvingly and wouldn't have been able to make it to the Cannons/Puddlemere match on June 8th. FYI to his sponsor/teammates. Unless Quidditch players are important enough to score train seats but seems unlikely.

Thom Pettigrew probably had someone set up a boarding house type thing in London for Puddlemere players (first & second string) and important QQS employees who regularly live in Hogsmeade. Rufus Bixby and Thomas Tilcott have the option of moving in between June 15th - June 16th before the fog totally cuts Hogsmeade off. There's no penalty if they choose to stick around Hogsmeade and be trapped, but they won't be getting paid for any practices or games they miss. Irvingly residents are out of luck because it didn't occur to him to find alternative housing until after the fog hit Hogsmeade.
