Did You Know?
One of the cheapest homeless shelters in Victorian London charged four pennies to sleep in a coffin. Which was... still better than sleeping upright against a rope? — Jordan / Lynn
If he was being completely honest, the situation didn't look good, but Sylvano was not in the habit of being completely honest about anything. No reason to start now.

Sip, Sip, Hooray!

"Ah, I see. I understand," she shared. Cordie would lightly nod, "I'm sure that no matter what, you'll continue to do well with it."

She would take a small sip of her tea, taking a moment to gather her thoughts when Elsie asked her a question. "I'll probably be managing the household, if possible," Cordie said. "I know it's going to be way different than how things were when I worked at Hogwarts, but it's better than nothing."

"Running a home is a lot," Elsie acquiesced after a sip of her tea. It was enough now with having minimal help and the kids at this point. Running a real house that needed to function accordingly would be work of its own sort. "It'll all come in time. I'm sure you'll be able to find a balance between that and some of your own personal pursuits, if you choose." Elsie firmly believed that women needed their own hobbies and things that made them happy outside of being a wife and a mother. Without that outlet she wouldn't have made the transition as well as she had, even under the dubious circumstances of her marriage.

Cordie would also take a sip of her tea, taking in Elsie's words. "It can be, for sure," she shared, agreeing. There was no doubt that running a home, especially when it came to children, could be quite a lot to handle.

She would nod at Elsie's words once more. "I'm sure it will," she said softly, offering Elsie a warm smile. Cordie took a brief pause before continuing, "So, what else have you been up to these days?"
