Hogsmeade connections - Samuel Griffith - December 1, 2025

hey folks, now that Sam has been teaching at Hogwarts for a year it seems logical that he would be renting a place for himself in Hogsmeade, both away from the school and away from his family in London, a simple bachelor's quarters type of deal.

Essentially, this is a request for some loose neighbourhood connections.

I've settled on Bartonburg as the most likely place, as the middle class neighbourhood.

*is there a family who might be letting rooms or a small house?

*any Bartonburg locals who would try to get to know their new neighbour?

*any hogsmeade based potioneers? I doubt Sam can restrain himself from setting up at least a small space for Alchemy purposes and so there is a new customer around to buy and sell rare things

Isla Bowen still has the small house that she and her husband owned in Bartonburg so she might be his neighbour or at least offered him suggestions on which streets to avoid or look at more closely.

that's neat and gives us a reason for a thread with them if you ever feel like one they could end up living on the same street?
